The winery LA GANGHIJA was started in 2004 by passionate young winemaker Enzo Rapalino, who wanted to express his love of the wine of the area where he grew up. LA GANGHIJA is situated in the heart of Treiso, a small village with beautiful landscapes, and part of its charm comes from being in the famous BARBARESCO D.O.C.G. wine region.
An intense ruby red towards garnet when aged. Complex bouquet of spices, wild berries with hints of vanilla and almond. Full-body and harmonious tannins with a persistent finish of spice note.
Pair well with roast, brazed red meat, game and matured cheese.
Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC
Intense ruby towards garnet. With scents of blackberry, plum and spice at nose. Dry, full-body, balanced tannins and velvety with a persistent finish.
Pair well with red meat and game.
Barbera d'Alba DOC
An intense ruby red. It has black friut, warm and embranced with spice overtone. A full-body and velvety with balanced soft tannins, acidity and alcohol.
Recommended for first course, roast and game, excellent with slightly matured cheeses.
Dolcetto d'Alba DOC
Ruby red with intense violet highlight, intense nose with blackberry and small red fruits. A classic Dolcetto style medium-body, well balanced of good acidity and long finish.
A good table wine especially for first course and young cheeses.
Langhe Chardonnay DOC
Straw yellow with hints of green. Intense bouquet of herbs and fresh fruit. Well balanced, fresh crisp and clear.
Excellent as an aperitif, perfect with fish, seafood dishes and white meat.
